The AEW12 Dual Diversity antenna system makes the unit better with drop outs than a single antenna system
When your bodypack starts to receive a weaker signal from the transmitter...the body pack switches to the other antenna
stopping the dreaded audio drop out!
We have used these units at gigs and found the transmission to be as good as other top of the line units
RUNNING THE SYSTEM
When I front the band I actually just take an aux send from the board and go into the left channel of the transmitter
and set my body pack to mix which feeds the mono signal to both ears.
With the AEW12 you can have two separate mixes by running one aux to left and another to right (or any audio sources of course)
then move the switch on the back of the transmitter to mix..this will make your body pack panning turn into to separate volume of those
individual channels.
